FINAL RESULTS

MONROE, Ore.—With five of the top six finishers, Concordia rolled at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Golf Championships Presented by Diamond Woods for its third straight team title.
Concordia (314-318-315—947), ranked No. 6 in the NAIA, fired a collective 27-over 315 on Tuesday’s final round to secure the title as the four-team order did not change in the final 18 holes of play. The College of Idaho (347-335-358—1,040) carded its highest single round score of the tournament but created enough of a gap over the first two go-arounds to fend off Northwest Christian (363-354-369—1,086) to finish in second place for the second straight year.
Northwest Christian moved up three places from a year ago when they placed fifth out of five teams. Corban (436-432-468—1,336) completed the field in fourth place.
CU’s Ronn Grove was named the CCC Women’s Coach of the Year while Northwest Christian and College of Idaho shared the distinction of the Team Champions of Character.
A 2-over 74 in the second round on Monday propelled CU’s Lindsay Aho (76-74-79—229) to the top of the leaderboard, a spot she did not relinquish en route to her third straight individual title at the CCC Championships. Aho, who was named the CCC Player of the Year for the third time in her career, finished with a 10-stroke lead over runner-up Holly Speer (81-82-76—239), also from Concordia.
Speer posted the tournament’s lowest third-round score with a 4-over 76 on Tuesday to move up from fifth place. Northwest Christian’s Ashley King (77-77-89—243) tied for third place with CU’s Kim Lindow (74-86-83—243) and were followed by Concordia’s Madeline Jarrett (83-82-79—244) and Sara Taylor (84-80-81—245) in fifth and sixth place, respectively.
C of I golfers then grabbed five of the next eight positions with Cecelia Garcia (83-79-86—248) pacing the Coyotes in seventh place.  Eight strokes back, Heidi Murphy (86-80-90—256) concluded the tournament in eighth while Warner Pacific’s Rachel Murphy (87-93-83—263) climbed two spots with an 83 to crack the top 10 in a ninth-place finish.
Jocelyn Cracroft (86-86-92—264) rounded out the top 10 as C of I’s No. 3 finisher. Corban was led by Hailey Thomas (93-94-104—291) in 15th place, six strokes ahead of teammate Morgan McComish (97-102-98—297).
Aho and King closed out their CCC career with their third all-conference honors. Garcia, Lindow, Speer and Taylor returned to the list for the second straight season while Jarrett and Lindow were the lone newcomers as five of the seven were all representatives on the All-CCC team last year.
Aho earned the Player of the Year award with the lowest stroke average among league golfers, ending the conference schedule with an average of 76 in 13 rounds of competition.
