CALDWELL, Idaho - The College of Idaho combined for 30 runs and 37 hits this afternoon, completing a four-game sweep of Corban College with 18-1 and 12-1 victories this afternoon at Wolfe Field.

Game 1 saw the Warriors (11-37, 4-23 NAIA West) grab a quick 1-0 lead on a Steven Blum RBI double in the opening frame, but it didn't last long. Diego Robles roped an RBI double off the right field wall, Kyle Douglas followed with an RBI triple, Jared Arehart lifted a sacrifice fly, and Gavin Gamboa lined an RBI double, and C of I led 4-1.

Arehart launched a two-run homer in the third to make it 6-1, with a Robles two-run single in the fourth pushing the lead to 8-1. The No. 21 ranked Coyotes (33-11, 23-5) would blow the game open in the fifth, getting a two-run Ray Santiago double and a two-run homer from Izaac Garsez, part of a five-run frame.

Jacob Coats picked up the win for the Yotes, getting help from his defense, as the Yotes turned four double plays behind the freshman. Robles went 4-for-4, with Garsez and Gamboa each had three hits in the win. Jonathan Sanchez had three hits for the Warriors.

Game 2 was all Coyotes, as Garsez and Douglas each hit solo home runs in the first inning, Jordan Lanman had a two-run triple and Garsez singled him home in the second to make it 5-1. Douglas added a two-run double in a four-run fourth, as the Coyotes completed the sweep.

Garsez went 3-for-3 in the win, with Douglas going 2-for-3 for the Coyotes. Mitch Dame and Chad Yeggy combined to limit the Warriors to just five hits and one run in the victory.

The Coyotes close out the regular season next weekend, hosting No. 4 ranked British Columbia - Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m.
