The following Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as Players of the Week in their respective sports for the period of March 29-April 5:

BASEBALL
Player – College of Idaho’s Izaac Garsez, a 6-1 sophomore outfielder from Caldwell, Idaho, had a huge week for the Yotes, helping C of I to a four-game sweep of Oregon Tech. Garsez was 10 of 17 at the plate with six extra-base hits and 12 runs batted in. He hit a pair of homers and drove in eight runs in the opening game of the series. Honorable mention: Jonathan Ramirez, Corban.

Pitcher – College of Idaho’s Levi Mitchum, a 6-0 junior from Yakima, Wash., tossed a complete-game four-hit shutout, striking out a C of I season-high 11 batters in an 8-0 win over NAIA West South Division leading Oregon Tech. Honorable mention: Nate Hiebert, Corban.

SOFTBALL
Player – Corban’s Stephanie Nippert, a 5-8 freshman outfielder from Rocklin, Calif., went a combined 4 for 8 at the plate with three runs scored and five RBI’s as the Warriors swept a doubleheader from Eastern Oregon. Nippert also registered her team-leading sixth and seventh home runs of the season. Honorable mention: Kristen Haugen, College of Idaho.

Pitcher – Corban’s Makenzie Marchbanks, a junior from Sweet Home, Ore., earned the honor for the third time this season. Marchbanks helped lead the Warriors to a 2-0 record, picking up a pair of wins including a one-hitter in the opener vs. Eastern Oregon. It marked her conference-leading 15th complete game of the season. Honorable mention: Jody Zillner, College of Idaho,

MEN’S TRACK & FIELD
Track – Corban’s David Anderson, a junior from Salem, Ore., made program history by earning an automatic mark in the 400 hurdles at the Willamette Invitational. Anderson clocked a time of 53.53 to finish second in the event. His time leads the CCC this season. Honorable mention: Seth Bridges, Northwest; Zach Elliott, Southern Oregon; Charles Cummings, Concordia.

Field – Concordia’s Bo Johnson, a freshman from Toledo, Ore., cracked the 170-foot barrier in the hammer for the third straight meet to win the event at Linfield’s Jenn Boyman Invitational. Johnson holds a season best of 177-9 which is No. 7 on the NAIA outdoor performance list.

WOMEN’S TRACK & FIELD
Track – Concordia’s Alice Taylor, a junior from Auckland, New Zealand, easily set a school record with a time of 35:40.35 in winning the 10,000 meters at the Willamette Invitational. The mark is also the leading time in the NAIA ranks this season. Honorable mention: Jennifer Hague, Corban; Chelsea Miller, Northwest; Maggie Miller, College of Idaho; Any Martinez, Southern Oregon.

Field – Concordia’s Amanda Federici, a freshman from Beaverton, Ore., set a career best in the hammer en route to winning the event at Linfield on Saturday. Federici registered a top throw of 156-8 for the CCC’s second best mark in the event and 13th best in the NAIA this season. Honorable mention: Jenny Harman, Corban.
