PORTLAND, Ore. -- A record 108 student-athletes will represent the Cascade Collegiate Conference at next week's NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Marion, Ind.
The three-day meet will be contested at Indiana Wesleyan University May 27-29.
Entries released Friday by the NAIA office shows 63 females and 45 males from the CCC qualified for the national championships, exceeding last year's CCC record of 97 entrants.
Concordia, which has swept the men's and women's CCC outdoor track and field team titles the past four years, leads the way with 34 entrants (18 women, 16 men), The Cavaliers are followed by Eastern Oregon (20), Southern Oregon (15), College of Idaho (11), Oregon Tech (10), Corban (8), Northwest (4), Warner Pacific (3), Northwest Christian (2), and Evergreen (1).
