PRIMM, Nev. -- Three Cascade Collegiate Conference teams are among the top nine after the opening 18 holes of the 36-hole NAIA National Women's Golf Qualifier here at Primm Valley Golf Course.

Concordia, the nation's fifth-ranked team, is in third place with a score of 305, four strokes behind second-place British Columbia and 11 shots back of fourth-ranked Cal Baptist. The College of Idaho sits in sixth place (336) and Corban College is in ninth. 

Eleven teams from the West Coast -- five of which are ranked among the NAIA's top 11 in the latest national poll -- are vying for the automatic bid to the national championships awarded to the team champion.

The final 18 holes get underway Tuesday morning.
