Future CCC Players Set for All-Star Series

EUGENE, Ore. – A total of six players who will begin collegiate careers with Cascade Collegiate Conference schools next season are set to play at Northwest Christian University on Friday as part of the OACA All-Star Series, which concludes with a second set of games on Saturday at Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, Ore. Leading the way is Register-Guard Prep Athlete of the Year Mitchel Wilson (Marist HS), an NCU recruit.

The 38th annual Oregon Athletic Coaches Association (OACA) Summer All-Star Basketball Series is put on every year, and features games starting with the 2A All-Stars at 1:30 pm each day and conclude with the 6A contest at 8:30 pm each night.

The 5A game will feature Nathan Maddox (Cleveland HS), an Oregon Tech recruit, playing for the North All-Stars. The South team will have the pairing of Southern Oregon signee Kyle Tedder (Marshfield HS) and future Eastern Oregon Mountie Kyllian Wood (Thurston HS).

Three future NCU athletes are scheduled to play on their new home court for the first time. Wilson (Marist HS) will be joined on the 4A South team by fellow Beacon Cody Cozad (Brookings-Harbor HS). Northwest Christian will also be represented on the 2A North team by Trevor Parker (Central Linn HS).

Another big name set to play in the event is future USC Trojan Garrett Jackson (Westview HS), suiting up for the 6A North All-Stars.

The doors will open for this event at 12:30 pm on Friday. Tickets are $5.00 for general admission, $4 for students, and $2 for children or seniors.
