GoBEACONS.com Gains National Recognition
ATHERTON, Calif. – The Northwest Christian University athletic website, GoBEACONS.com was honored this past weekend as one of the top-ten athletic websites in the NAIA and as the only CCC school voted into the top-ten, NCU can now claim the best website in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Sports Information Directors Association had its annual NAIA-SIDA Convention on Saturday on the campus of Menlo College. Honored during an afternoon luncheon were publication winners from the 2009-10 academic year, in areas of media guides, writing, and website development. The Northwest Christian University athletic department and Beacon Sports Information Director Nick Askew were honored in the category for Best NAIA Athletics Website.
GoBEACONS.com made the top-ten for the first time, giving Northwest Christian their first ever recognition by the NAIA-SIDA publication contests.
