Eagles Complete 2010 Signings
KIRKLAND, Wash. – Northwest University Head Coach John Van Dyke announced the signing Jordan Call (Kirkland, Wash.), a 6-3 wing, to play for the Eagles in the upcoming 2010-11 season. Call is a junior and a transfer from Whitworth University.
Call played in 13 games for Whitworth last season and is a graduate of Juanita High School in Kirkland where he was a 2008 KingCo 4A First Team All-Conference player averaging 16.9 points per game, 4th best in the league in ‘08. He averaged 81.5% from the free throw line and 50% from 2-point range and averaged 2.8 assists. Call had a season high 33 points against Inglemoor in January 2008.
“Jordan is a terrific young man who will be a nice addition to our program,” stated Coach Van Dyke. “Over the course of the summer I’ve been impressed with his ability to shoot the ball and I think he will have two great years at NU.”
The signing of Call completes the Eagles' off-season recruiting period having previously received commitments from 6-5 forward Michael Greene (Bellingham, Wash./Squalicum High School) and 6-1 guard Ahmaad Cook from Los Angeles (Fullerton JC).
