CALDWELL, IDAHO -- The Southern Oregon women's soccer team turned in its most productive offensive day since 2007 with a 5-0 rout of Rocky Mountain College today in Caldwell, Idaho.

The Raiders are now 5-2-1 overall and wrap up the preseason next Saturday at Simpson. Rocky Mountain was coming off a victory over nationally-ranked College of Idaho and was receiving votes in this week's NAIA Top 25 poll.

"We made two really nice goals off the top and that gave us some confidence and we never really broke," SOU head coach Jon Clement said. "This weekend was a good confidence builder and we received good performances from everyone all weekend long."

The Raiders wasted no time attacking the Bears, taking a 3-0 lead 16 minutes into the game.

Kennedy Roteman led the Raiders with a pair of goals and an assist. Denise Powell added a goal and assist and Stacy Szeto and Stephanie Carr both had goals.

The five goals are the most since the Raiders put up seven goals on Northwest Christian in 2007.
