KIRKLAND, Wash. – The Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (Ariz.) Eagles came back from a 1-0 deficit to defeat the Northwest University Eagles, 2-1, this afternoon in a non-conference contest on the NU Athletic Field.

NU (3-1-2) took the lead only 5 minutes into the game as Jordyn Wilson (Soph., Snoqualmie, Wash.) put one in the goal net unassisted. Embry Riddle would tie the game on Kiley Frazier’s (Sr., Federal Way, Wash.) goal which came off a free kick as she bent her shot around the NU wall on the right side and past the outstretched arms of NU goalkeeper Jordan Holmes (40:02).

The Embry Riddle (3-5-1) game winner came when Brittany Murillo (Sr., Yakima, Wash.) was fouled in the penalty box and she put her penalty kick into the net at 63:42 in the second half. ERAU’s defense would hold NU scoreless for 85 minutes to earn the win.

NU will begin Cascade Conference play next Saturday, Oct. 2, when they play host to the Evergreen State College at 1:00 p.m. Embry Riddle travels to Portland to take on #2 ranked Concordia on Sunday, Sept. 26.
