ASHLAND, ORE -- The 14th-ranked Southern Oregon volleyball team remained perfect in Cascade Conference play with a 25-18, 25-19, 25-20 sweep of Corban tonight at McNeal Pavilion.

The Raiders are now 11-2 overall and 8-0 in Cascade Conference play and host arch-rival Oregon Tech Friday night at McNeal Pavilion. Corban dropped to 5-4 overall and 3-4 in conference.

Junior Sarah Holgen continued her torrid play with a match-high 15 kills to go along with nine digs. Becky Johnstone led SOU with 19 digs, while Leanne Stennett finished with 13 digs.

After winning the first two sets, the Raiders had trouble shaking the Warriors in the third set. The Warriors took leads of 4-2, 8-5 and 14-12 before the Raiders rallied back.

Johnstone served for six straight points to give the Raiders an 18-15 lead and the hosts never looked back.
