Kristin Walters broke a 14-14 tie in the 5th set with a kill, and the visiting Owls forced a Knight hitting error to clinch the final set of a hotly contested match.
OIT controlled set one by putting together two separate runs of 6 straight points to gain distance. A kill by the Knights’ Kristina Naff drew the hosts with 21-24, but a Megan Christensen spike ended the threat.
Set two was close throughout and saw 10 tie scores and 5 lead changes. WPC closed within 21-22 on a Emily Damschen kill, but tow kills from Christensen sandwiched around a Jennifer Saltenberg score gave the set to OIT.

Picking up where they left off Warner Pacific sprinted out to a 12-5 lead in set four, only to see OIT storm back behind the serving of Mikayla Morgan to tie the set 12-12. The Knights regrouped and forged a 23-20 lead, and claimed the frame 25-22 on a Rachel Warick kill.
The fifth and deciding set was a classic, as neither team would own a lead of more than two points.
Christensen led the Owls with 17 kills. Sarah Svedin ran the attack with 44 assists.
Kolakowski swung for a match high 21 kills for WPC, and Caitlyn McCall was the top defender with 24 digs.
