"They are a much improved team from our first meeting and we needed a gritty effort from our guys to pull it out and they delivered. We got a huge lift from our bench tonight. Our goal was to try to limit their success from the 3-point line and our team did a good job of accomplishing that goal."

Northwest moves on to play Northwest Christian tomorrow night in Eugene, Ore., before returning to Kirkland. Corban hosts the Evergreen State College in the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center on Saturday night. Both games tip off at 7:30 p.m.
