DAY #1 RESULTS

SALEM, Ore. – After the opening day of the Corban Invitational, Concordia's women's golf team holds a 20-stroke lead over The College of Idaho led by Sara Molyneux's 4-over 146 Monday at Creekside Golf Club.

Concordia posted a 36-hole total of 51-over 627 (317-310) that included the lowest round of the day in Round #2, while The College of Idaho (325-322=647) has a secure hold on second place ahead of Northwest Christian (357-349=706). Warner Pacific (365-355=720) and tournament-host Corban (364-380=744) round out the team competitors.

Molyneux, who posted the lowest round of the day with a 3-under 69 over the final 18 holes of the afternoon, holds a two-stroke individual lead over The College of Idaho's Trish Gibbens (75-73=148). Rounding out the Top 5 players on the leader board are The College of Idaho's Baylee Borchers (78-75=153), Concordia's Holly Speer (80-74=154), and Northwest Christian's Sarah Crofcheck (77-79=156). Warner Pacific is led by Scotti Jo Helmick's tie for the seventh thanks to a 27-over 171 (88-83), while Corban is led by Morgan McComish with a 36-over 180 (88-92) that is good enough for a three-way tie for 14th individually.

The third and final round of the tournament will tee off tomorrow – Tuesday, October 18th – with a shot gun start at 9:00 a.m. at Creekside Golf Club in Salem.
