(KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.) College of Idaho scored twice in the first half then held on to down Oregon Tech Saturday afternoon in Cascade Conference play 2-1 at Trevor Derrah Field. The Yotes improve to 6-8-1 on the season and 5-5-1 in CCC play with the win. Oregon Tech falls to 4-10-1 and 2-8-1 in CCC play with the loss.

College of Idaho wasted no time in scoring as Emilio Yomaha took a loose ball and dribbled through 3 defenders before scoring past a diving keeper to give the Yotes a 1-0 lead in the 3rd minute.

Matt Kelly gave C of I a 2-0 lead as he chipped in a Brad Myers corner Kick in the 35 minute.

Oregon Tech broke through in the 79th minute when Sam Holcomb took a long cross from Gabe Rennels and scored from 15 feet out to make a 2-1 match.

Oregon Tech almost tied the game in the 87th minute when a header just missed and the Yotes held on for the 2-1 win.

The Yotes held a slight 20-18 advantage in shots and a 9-8 advantage in shots on goal.

Tanner Lee was credited with 7 saves between the pipes for Oregon Tech in the loss with Aaron Reynolds also grabbing 7 saves in picking up the win at keeper for C of I.

Oregon Tech will head to Eugene, Ore. on the 28th to take on Northwest Christian University. College of Idaho will also next play on the 28th as they travel to Salem, Ore. to take on Corban.
