-- Oregon Tech men’s basketball coach Danny Miles talks about his Hustlin’ Owls, who are seeking their fourth consecutive CCC championship in 2011-12. Tech was tagged with the favorites’ label in a preseason poll of the conference’s head coaches.
-- Corban University’s women’s basketball team, conference co-champion a year ago, is favored to win the 2011-12 CCC title, according to a preseason vote of the conference head coaches. Warriors coach Terry Williams and Katie Steigleman, the CCC preseason player of the year, talk about the upcoming season.
-- In a big matchup in Portland last weekend, Concordia’s men’s soccer team posted a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Northwest (Wash.). Cavaliers coach Dan Birkey and CU defender Matt Eronemo talk about the win.
-- Paul Meehan, who is in his second year coaching the Corban men’s soccer team, talks about his Warriors and their season to date. Corban was named the CCC Verizon Team of the Week for the period ending Oct. 23.
-- College of Idaho men’s soccer received some national airtime on ESPN last week for an incredible, game-tying goal by its goalkeeper in a match vs. Concordia. Assistant athletic director Mike Safford tells how the coverage on the “world-wide leader” came about.
