PORTLAND, Ore. – Brittany Orr of Concordia University has been voted the Cascade Collegiate Conference women’s soccer Defensive Player of the Year, while Corban University’s Audrey Sullivan was named the Offensive Player of the Year, the conference office announced Saturday.

Orr, a senior defender from Federal Way, Wash., repeats as the CCC’s top defender. She led her Cavalier team (14-4-1) to its 12th straight Cascade Collegiate Conference regular-season championship. Orr paced a defense that has allowed just 11 goals and posted a 0.58 goals against average in 19 contests.

Corban University’s Audrey Sullivan was selected by the conference coaches as the Offensive Player of the Year. The sophomore forward from Puyallup, Wash., claimed the top spot in the conference in points (35) and goals scored (14), while tying for second in assists (7).

For the second year in a row a freshman garners the Newcomer of the Year award as Northwest University forward Acacia Johnson was honored by the conference coaches. Johnson tallied 22 points (10 goals, 2 assists) on the season and led her Eagle team to the conference tournament final.

Sharing the conference Coach of the Year award is Southern Oregon’s Jon Clement and Northwest’s Erin Redwine. Clement guided the Raiders to a second-place finish in the CCC regular season standings. Redwine led the Eagles to a third-place regular season finish and a berth in the CCC tournament championship match. NU was picked to finish fifth in the CCC in a preseason poll of the conference head coaches.
