-- Southern Oregon and College of Idaho’s volleyball teams are headed to Sioux City, Iowa for next week’s 24-team finals at the NAIA Volleyball National Championships. With a 15-match win streak, Southern Oregon is one of the hottest teams in the nation. Raiders’ outside hitter Sarah Holgen talks about her team as it prepares to make its second straight visit to Sioux City.
-- The Concordia women’s soccer team defeated Carroll College (Mont.) in the opening round of the NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championships to advance to the round of 16 beginning next week in Decatur, Ala. Veteran coach Grant Landy talks about the Cavs’ second-round opponent and how his team will prepare for the remainder of the tournament.
-- Northwest Christian’s Lindsey Shearer and Concordia’s Adam Herman were named Red Lion Players of the Week in basketball for the period ending Nov. 20.
-- Both the Southern Oregon men’s cross country team and Northwest Christian women’s cross country team posted top-five finishes at last week’s NAIA Cross Country National Championships to share the CCC Verizon Team of the Week award.
