WP Men Cruise to Victory at NHCC, 94-59
EUGENE, Ore – Warner Pacific (5-2) used 31-points off of 22 Deacons turnovers to cruise to a 94-59 victory Tuesday night at the Rexius Events Center.
Three-of-five Knights starters scored in double figures led by forward Biniam Tadele’s 14 points, accompanied by nine boards and four assists.
New Hope Christian is in the midst of ten straight games with opponents from the Cascade Collegiate Conference, and tonight proved to be a difficult test from the start. The Knights held a 51-26 edge in rebounds (19-8 in offensive boards), and utilized the offensive boards into 17 second chance points. Warner Pacific’s bench outscored the NHCC bench 48-13, led by Stephen Harris’ 13 points and seven rebounds while Doug Thomas added 12 points and eight boards.
NHCC (1-7), was led by Forest Stolk who notched a second-consecutive double-double scoring a game-high 17 points and pulling down 12 boards. Forward Harley Turner added 14 points and four rebounds.
