Southern Oregon used led at halftime and used a big second-half run to pull away to a 76-55 win over Warner in Game Seven of the Flagship Inn Classic Saturday night at Bob Riehm Arena.

The Raiders improve to 9-1 overall, while Warner falls to 3-4 this season. The Royals will play California Maritime in the Flagship Inn Classic women’s finale Sunday at 2 p.m, while the Raiders will return to action on Dec. 2 when they open the Cascade Collegiate Conference season hosting Northwest Christian at 5:30 p.m. at Bob Riehm Arena.

Angelica Cahee led SOU with 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting. Kiara Moore and Chiquita Thomas tallied 11 points, with Thomas and Krysten Copeland tying for the team lead with eight rebounds. RaTanya Newsome added 10 points in the win. Alexandra Melonson led Warner with 12 points, with Shawnelle Campbell (11) and Katarina Olivo (10) also reaching double-figures.

Southern Oregon scored the first four points and led for most of the first half. Warner took a brief 17-16 lead on Campbell’s jumper midway through the period, but Newsome hit a jumper at the other end to spark a 9-0 SOU run that gave the Raiders an eight-point lead. The Royals pulled within three on Stephanie Wills’ three-pointer with just under six minutes left in the half, but SOU took a 36-30 lead into halftime.

Cahee hit a shot at the start of the second half to put SOU up by eight at 38-30, but Warner scored 11 of the next 13 points to take a 41-40 lead with 16:25 remaining. Nalani Hernandez ended the Warner run with a layup to put SOU back on top and began a 28-4 run, putting SOU up by more than 20 points with just under seven minutes to play and the Raiders coasted to the 76-55 victory.
