Owls Run Past Multnomah
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Fourth-ranked Oregon Tech jumped up by 20 points midway through the first period, led by as many as 62 and settled for a 111-54 non-conference victory over Multnomah University this afternoon at Danny Miles Court.
The win is 59 in a row at Danny Miles Court and moves OIT to 2-0 overall. Multnomah drops to 2-3 on the season with the loss.
For Oregon Tech, Scotty Riddle finished with 25 points on 10-for-12 from the field, including 5-of-7 from long range. Bobby Hunter followed with 20 points, including six rebounds and four assists, while Kyle Gomez dropped in 19 points to go with five rebounds and five assists. Jason Gamblin, in his first game in an Owl uniform, scored 12 points, grabbed a game-high nine rebounds and recorded five assists of his own. Bryant Sentman was the fifth Owl in double-digits with 10 points and seven rebounds.
Gion Cook led Multnomah with 19 points, followed by a 17 point effort from Austin Hodges.
