All 14 CU players saw action on the court with May leading the cause with a team-high 11 points and five rebounds. Megan Padilla was next for CU with eight points after finishing 4-of-11 from the field. Along with Day, three other Pilots reached double figures in the scoring column.
The Cavs held the Pilots to 41.4 percent shooting on the day including an even 40 percent in the second half, but were doomed by a 23.5 percent shooting performance. CU was able to generate more trips to the free throw line than their counterparts (19-to-16) but converted just nine of their attempts.
