SALEM, Ore. – Due to this week's expected bad weather, fourth-year head coach Nathan Ohta in conjunction with Corban University's athletic administration has moved Thursday's softball double header between the Warriors and British Columbia to Hood View Park in Clackamas.
Over the next 24 hours, more than ½ an inch of rain is expected to fall in the Salem area making Warrior Field unplayable. Thanks to the all-weather turf playing surface and lights at Hood View Park, the scheduled Corban-British Columbia double header should be able to be played.
Corban, who is currently 2-6 overall after its season-opening Northern California trip, will host the visiting Thunderbirds on Thursday before taking part in the annual Northwest Cup hosted by Concordia University on Saturday, February 19th, against NCAA Division III member Whitworth and British Columbia.
