CCC Men's Basketball Tourney Tips Tonight
PORTLAND, Ore. – Two-time defending Cascade Collegiate Conference tournament champion Oregon Tech opens defense of its title tonight as quarterfinal action gets underway in the eight-team men’s basketball tournament.
The top-seeded Hustlin’ Owls (26-4), ranked eighth nationally, put a 54-game home winning streak on the line when they face eighth-seeded Concordia (12-17) tonight in Klamath Falls.
In other quarterfinal games, second-seeded Eastern Oregon (23-5) hosts seventh-seeded Southern Oregon (14-15) in La Grande; third-seeded Warner Pacific (19-9) entertains sixth-seeded Corban (17-13) in Portland; and fourth-seeded Northwest (20-7) meets fifth-seeded College of Idaho (13-16) in Kirkland, Wash.

The winner of the conference tournament earns an automatic bid to the NAIA Championships next month in Point Lookout, Mo. Should OIT, which has already secured a bid to the national tournament by winning the CCC title, also win the postseason tournament, the CCC tournament runner-up will be awarded the conference's second automatic berth.
Oregon Tech is looking to become the first CCC men’s team to win three postseason tournament titles in a row.
