Myrom, Bedortha Earn Red Lion Weekly Honors
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Concordia's Sean Myrom and Oregon Tech's Dylan Bedortha have been recognized as the Red Lion Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively, for the period Feb. 21-27.
Player – Concordia University’s Sean Myrom, a 6-3 junior first baseman from San Diego, Calif., has been named the Red Lion Baseball Player of the Week. In two games last week, Myrom batted .333 with one homer and a pair of RBIs in a doubleheader vs. George Fox.
Pitcher – Oregon Institute of Technology’s Dylan Bedortha, a 6-2 sophomore from Medford, Ore., has been named the Red Lion Baseball Pitcher of the Week. In his lone appearance, Bedortha scattered five hits and shut out NCAA Division III foe Linfield, the No. 8 team in the country, 1-0. Bedortha, who struck out one and walked one, improved his record to 2-2.
