CU Baseball versus Pacific Cancelled
PORTLAND, Ore.—For the third time in the last week, the Concordia University baseball team will lose scheduled contests due to unplayable field conditions as its Tuesday matchup against Pacific University has been cancelled, head coach Rob Vance announced on Monday morning.
The game against the Boxers was to be played at the University of Portland’s Joe Etzel Field but continual rain on Monday further depreciated the grass playing field.
The Cavaliers previously lost games against George Fox University and the University of Portland over the weekend before relocating games to GFU’s Morse Field for a Saturday doubleheader.
The Cavaliers will next take the field against No. 4-ranked Lewis-Clark State in a four-game series beginning on March 4.
