PORTLAND, Ore. – Forty-seven student-athletes from the Cascade Collegiate Conference have qualified for the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships, slated for March 3-5 in Geneva, Ohio.

The CCC qualifier list includes 34 women and 13 men.

CCC institutions which will be represented at the national championships include College of Idaho, Concordia, Eastern Oregon, Evergreen, Northwest, and Warner Pacific. Concordia has 21 qualifiers (15 women, six men) while Eastern Oregon has 15 qualifiers (nine women, six men).

In addition, the CCC has the top mark in four events heading into the championships. On the men’s side, Eastern Oregon’s Ryan Booth has the top mark in the 800 meters (1:52.06) while teammate Robbie Haynie leads in both the pole vault (5.25m) and heptathlon (5,270). On the women’s side, Concordia’s Kayla Xavier has the nation’s top effort this season in the shot put (14.30m).
