PORTLAND, Ore. – First-year head baseball coach Jeff McKay announced Tuesday afternoon that today's single nine-inning game against NCAA Division III member Lewis & Clark has been postponed due to rain in the Portland metro area.

Despite the Pioneers' field being covered for the past 24 hours, Lewis & Clark head coach Tom Flynn informed McKay that the rains had begun to fall in Portland around 1:00 p.m. this afternoon and would not be letting up according to the forecast in time for the game to happen.

Both coaches agreed that today's game would be made up at a future date and time, which will be determined tomorrow when they talk again to see what both team's schedules and the forecast look like.
