Cavs' Clauson Leads 4 on All-American Team

NAIA All-America Team

PORTLAND, Ore. – Concordia’s Danielle Clauson led a group of four Cascade Collegiate Conference women’s basketball players who were accorded NAIA All-America honors Wednesday.

Clauson, the CCC’s Player of the Year, was voted to the 10-person first team. She is the first player in Cavalier women’s basketball history to earn first team honors.

College of Idaho’s Nicole Gall, the CCC’s Defensive Player of the Year was named to the second team. Gall was a third-team selection last season.

Corban’s Katie Steigleman was named to the third team. She is the first Warrior women’s basketball player to earn All-America honors in 10 years.

Warner Pacific’s Kelsey Mattsen was named an honorable mention All-American.
