SALEM, Ore. – First-year head baseball coach Jeff McKay announced earlier Sunday morning that today's rescheduled NAIA West double header between Corban University and Concordia University has been cancelled due to weather and unplayable field conditions at Stayton High School.

Despite Emery Field at Joe Brock Park having a turf infield, the natural grass outfield had taken a hit from the amount of rain that has hit the Willamette Valley over the past 24 hours. Along with the outfield, the dirt pitching mound and home plate area also suffered damages from the rain and were deemed unplayable for safety reasons.

Both McKay and Concordia head coach Rob Vance have not announced a make-up date for any of the four games lost this weekend, but will talk again later this week and hopefully communicate new dates for the conference games.

In an unusually rainy season, the Warriors have lost 11 games due to the weather this year.
