MONROE, Ore. – Will Snow led a quartet of Concordia golfers in the top six to help the Cavaliers to a 35-stroke lead after 36 holes of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Men’s Golf Championships on Monday.

Concordia fired rounds of 295-286—581 to take a commanding lead in the event. Northwest Christian is in second place (616), and is followed by College of Idaho (634), Corban (638) and Warner Pacific (673).
The 54-hole tournament, which is being contested at 6,902-yard Diamond Woods Golf Club, concludes Tuesday.

Snow fired consecutive even-par rounds of 72-72-144 to take a one-shot lead over teammate Jed Dalton, who carded rounds of 74-71—145. Dalton shares second place with Northwest Christian freshman Tyler Falk, who matched Dalton with rounds of 74-71. NCU’s Brent McKee is in a fourth-place tie with Concordia’s Jonny Miller. Both are at four-over 148.

Taylor Schmidt of Concordia is alone in sixth (149) and Corban’s Joey Duwe and College of Idaho’s Tyler Thurston are tied for seventh (150).

The Cavaliers, who won the CCC regular season crown by going 3-1 in four conference events, are seeking their fourth consecutive conference tournament championship.
