MONROE, Ore. – Sara Molyneux and Samantha Webb of Concordia University hold the top two positions on the leaderboard and the Cavaliers own a 20-stroke lead over College of Idaho after the first two rounds of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Women’s Golf Championships.

The Cavaliers, who are ranked 15th nationally, are seeking their fourth consecutive CCC tournament title. The final 18 holes will be played Tuesday here at 5,973-yard Diamond Woods Golf Club. Concordia has a two-round total of 648; College of Idaho is at 688.

Molyneux carded rounds of 79-78 for a 36-hole total of 167. She is two strokes in front of Webb, who posted rounds of 81-78—159.

Trish Gibbens and Baylee Borchers of College of Idaho are in third and fourth place, respectively. Gibbens posted scores of 81-79—160; Borchres is at 83-78—161.

Northwest Christian is in third place with a team score of 745. Corban is in fourth place at 812.

In the NAIA national qualifier, which is being run concurrently with the CCC Championships, Cal Baptist is in the lead at 6333, 15 strokes in front of Concordia. The team champion will earn an automatic berth in next month’s NAIA Championships.
