MONROE, Ore. – The Concordia University men’s golf team won their fourth title on Tuesday afternoon, beating out runner-up Northwest Christian University by 43 strokes at the CCC Men’s Golf Championship presented by Diamond Woods Golf Course. Jed Dalton won individual medalist honors after a final-round 72 gave him a 217 for the tournament.
Concordia shot an 881 which included a two-under round of 286 in Monday’s afternoon session. Northwest Christian followed at 924 and College of Idaho was third at 940. Corban University (956) finished fourth, followed by Warner Pacific College (1001) in fifth.
Behind Dalton, CU teammate Will Snow took second place (72-72-76=220), followed by Tyler Falk of Northwest Christian University in third (74-71-78=223) and NCU’s Brent McKee (75-73-77=225) in fourth.
Falk (pictured, right) also secured the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Year award with a season stroke average of 73.69
Seven Players earned All-Cascade Collegiate Conference honors, including Falk and McKee, a four-time All-conference selection. Also on the team are Warner Pacific’s Andrew Johnson, Corban’s Joey Duwe, and three members of champion Concordia; Taylor Schmidt, Dalton, and Jonny Miller.
