SALEM, Ore. – Corban University's first-year head baseball coach Jeff McKay announced Monday that tomorrow's home finale against cross town rival and NCAA Division III member Willamette has moved to Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer due to unplayable field conditions.

For the first time in program history, Corban's baseball team will not play a home game on-campus having utilized the field at Stayton High School and Volcanoes Stadium throughout this season. Warrior Field has been under water for most of the year making the outfield playing surface unsafe for players, while also effecting the playing surface with an unfair advantage to both teams.

Tuesday's game is still scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. with a pre-game ceremony taking place to honor Corban's seven seniors that will be playing their final home game in a Warrior uniform. Admission will be charge to all fans three-and-older, as adults will be charged $5.00 and children ages 3-17 will be charged $4.00. Children ages 3 and under are admitted free, but parents can purchase a seat at the kids' price if needed. A $3.00 parking fee will also be charged for every car that enters the gates to Volcanoes Stadium.

This will be the fifth straight home date in which the Warriors will be playing at the home park of the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, the Single-A short season affiliate of the World Champion San Francisco Giants. Previously this season, Corban has hosted The College of Idaho (2 games), Concordia (4 games), and Central Washington (2 games), while also playing a "road game" against George Fox a mere 15 minutes away from the University. Throughout the past two seasons, Corban has utilized Volcanoes Stadium for 13 games winning three games during that span.

Corban and Willamette met one other time this season with the Warriors earning a 21-13 victory at John Lewis Field.

Entering tomorrow's game, Corban is 9-37 overall and Willamette is 19-16-1 on the season.
