FOREST GROVE, Ore. - Tyeson Wood continues to rewrite the record books at Warner Pacific as he broke his own record in the 400 meters with a time of 48.38 at the Pacific University Twilight meet last weekend. That mark also meets the NAIA "B" standard in the event.

Wood also lent a hand to the 4 x 100 relay team, running with the team of Alija Sacirovic, Ka'imi Scott, and Elton Cody which won the event with a time of 42.21. He also closed out the day by anchoring the 4 x 400 relay team with the same group that set a new WPC record at 3:20.64.

Another school record that fell over the weekend was the 110 meter hurdles, as Webster Moreland posted a new standard for the second straight week at 15.37 seconds while placing 5th in the event.

Other performances of note:

Nathan Stecker turned in a personal best mark in the pole vault at 13-11.25 which was good enough for 3rd place in the event

Robert Brewer finished 4th in the 800 meters in a personal best time of 1:57.37.

Garrett South set new personal bests in both the 110 meter hurdles (15.64) and 400 hurdles (58.64).

"Overall, we had 16 personal best performances," said coach Dave Lee. "The athletes are improving week-to-week and I am looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish at the CCC Championships in a couple weeks."
