PORTLAND, Ore. – For the second straight year, Jason Dormeyer of Concordia University has been voted the Cascade Collegiate Conference Mike Booth Sports Information Director of the Year,

The annual CCC award is named for the late Mike Booth, a former long-time CCC sports information director.

Dormeyer was selected by his peers for outstanding contributions to his institution and the conference during the 2010-11 academic year.

Dormeyer, a graduate of Minnesota-Moorhead, directs all publicity efforts for Concordia’s 15-sport varsity program. This past year, Concordia captured the CCC’s all-sports title after winning or sharing eight conference titles. Dormeyer helped promote student-athletes who accounted for 39 NAIA All-America citations and four CCC Player of the Year honors.

In addition to being on site in Indiana to cover the Concordia women’s track and field as it won the first NAIA team title in school history last month, Dormeyer served as the media coordinator for the 2010 NAIA Cross Country National Championships in Vancouver, Wash.
