WILDER, Idaho - Led by a one-over par 73 from Baylee Borchers, The College of Idaho women's golf team set a new single-round team scoring record in today's dual match-up with Boise State at River Bend Golf Course.

The Lady Yotes dropped the 18-hole match with the Division I Broncos, 299-310 - but C of I's team total was four strokes better than their previous best, also recorded against BSU at River Bend in 2010.

Borchers became just the second Lady Yote to score 73-or-under in a round, taking the lead after nine holes, going out with a two-under 34 - finishing third overall. Trish Gibbens carded a 74 to place fourth, while Melissa Clausen shot a collegiate best 78 to place seventh.

BSU swept the medalist honors, as both Hayley Young and Maria Santisteban each shot an even-par 72 lead the Broncos to the win.

The C of I returns to action next Monday and Tuesday, as both the men's and women's teams will compete in the Warner Pacific Invitational - the first Cascade Conference tournament of the 2011-12 season.
