Concordia’s Jesse Heinly Wins Title at Warner Pacific Invitational

FINAL RESULTS

VANCOUVER, Wash. – In second place after two rounds, Concordia’s Jesse Heinly fired a 1 under 71 in the final round to win the Warner Pacific Invitational Tournament held at Club Green Meadows in Vancouver.

Day one leader Kyle DeLorey from College of Idaho shot a 4 over 76 in round three and fell to second place a by a mere stroke. His 54 hole total was 215, compared to 214 for Heinly. Corban’s Joey Duwe also carded a 1 under 71 for round three, and climbed to 3rd place with a total of 217. Concordia’s Taylor Schmidt and Jed Dalton finished 4th and 5th respectively, which helped the Cavaliers to the team title with a three round total score of 889.

The individual top ten was rounded out by Michael Salisbury (227, 6th) and Andrew Johnson (229, 7th) from host Warner Pacific, Corey King (234, 8th) and Tanner Maahs (235, 9th) from Concordia, and Casey Dyck (236, 10th) from College of Idaho.

Behind Concordia in the team standings was College of Idaho (992), Corban (933), Warner Pacific (936), and Northwest Christian (972).
