PORTLAND, Ore. - Both College of Idaho teams picked up individual and team titles this morning at the George Fox/Adidas Classic at Fernhill Park.
For the men, Greg Montgomery remained perfect, winning his fourth individual title of the 2012 season, helping the Yotes defend their team title.
The senior, along with his Coyote teammates, used a conservative approach on the 8,000-meter course at Fernhill Park, but still earned the victory with a time of 25:00, 19-seconds ahead of Lane College's Elias Geydon. On the women's side, the Lady Yotes placed all five scorers in the Top-8 scoring positions, as the third-ranked C of I squad rolled to the win - defeating No. 6 ranked Carroll for a second-time this season.
