Warner Pacific Men Win Home Tournament
MEN'S RESULTS
BRUSH PRAIRIE, Wash. – Warner Pacific men’s golf won their first ever tournament, outscoring seven other teams to claim the title of the Warner Pacific Invite held at The Cedars Golf Course in Brush Prairie.
Andrew Johnson, a senior from Brush Prairie who attended Prairie High School, led the way for the Knights by winning his second career individual medal with a 3-under par (70-69-71=210).
WPC was the only team under 300 in each round (299-296-292=887), which outpaced 2nd place North Idaho College (899) by 12 strokes. Concordia hit the clubhouse in 3rd (907), followed by Corban (929), Concordia “B” (932), Simpson (943), Northwest Christian (947), and College of Idaho (968).
Concordia’s Jed Dalton was the individual runner up (73-70-71=214), four strokes back from the leader. Tyler Falk from Northwest Christian and Warner Pacific’s A.J. Nelson tied for third place, each carding 5-over 218.
