Walla Walla, Wash. – The No. 10 Eastern Oregon women’s basketball team eased past Lewis-Clark State College this afternoon, 62-36.
Eastern was led by Korrie Bourn with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Kelsea Hurliman and Brook Randall contributed with 15 and 12 points respectively.
Brittaney Niebergall led LSCS with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Annie Kane also contributed with 8 points.
EOU jumped out to an early lead in the first half and never looked back, leading by as much 26. The Mountaineers went into halftime up, 35-13.
In the second half all of the Mountaineers would see playing time as Eastern would extend their led to as much as 26, shooting 34% (23-66) from the field and 8-26 from behind the arc. Lewis & Clark shot 35% (14-40) from the field and 1-13 from downtown.
