Cascade Conference Lists Several Student-Athletes as Scholar-Athletes
LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference had 22 student-athletes named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes Monday.
The NAIA has announced that 106 Division II Men's Basketball student-athletes and 162 Women’s Basketball student-athletes have been named 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
