Cavaliers Top Current Golf Standings
LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference released the women’s and men’s golf standings through March 21.
The Concordia women and men each lead their respective sides in the latest standings. The Cavalier women have a total of 2,907 through the first three conference events, while the CU men total 2,727.
The Concordia men hold the top two spots in the individual standings, led by Jesse Heinly’s top spot. The sophomore has an average round of 72.56 through nine rounds. Fellow Cavalier Jed Dalton follows closely with an average of 74.11.
On the women’s side, College of Idaho’s Trish Gibbens and Sara Molyneux of Concordia each average 77.67. The Cavaliers’ Sunshine Powers is in third at 79.11.
Two events remain on the conference schedule, The College of Idaho Invitational in Wilder, Idaho, April 9-10, and the Cascade Conference Championships in Monroe, Ore., April 16-17.
