DALLAS, Texas – Former Warrior men's basketball player and Corban University alum Paul Martin was named as part of the inaugural 'Thirty Under 30' award winners by SPORTS LAUNCH™ Magazine in its 2012 edition released last month.
SPORTS LAUNCH™ is a nationwide career services company that is dedicated to helping college students and career-changers launch sports careers.
The magazine's 'Thirty Under 30' Awards were established to recognize college students and young professionals under the age of thirty who epitomize one or more of the following attributes within the sports industry: hard work, innovation, creativity, leadership and entrepreneurship.
Martin, who played three seasons for the Warriors under head coach Justin Sherwood, currently works for Nike as the company's social media specialist.
After earning his Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Corban, Martin continued his education at Boise State University earning his Master's degree in Sports Management. During his time at Boise State, Martin worked in the Broncos' Sports Marketing Department as a Marketing and Promotions/Learfield Sports Sales Assistant. Upon receiving his degree from Boise State, Martin returned to Oregon and began working for Nike.
A former Cascade Collegiate Conference Champions of Character award winner, Martin hopes to use the opportunities God has given me to make a difference in the world, as well as lead and inspire the people around me to never stop dreaming.
