(KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.) – With the suspension of game 2 in Klamath Falls, due to continued rain that made for poor field conditions.  Oregon Tech Head Coach, Greg Stewart, in conjunction with Southern Oregon Head Coach, Kim Fritts, agreed to resume that contest this Friday in Medford, Ore. at U.S. Cellular Field beginning at 2 p.m.

Showers on April 17th at the Softball Complex on the campus of Oregon Tech forced the suspension of game 2 with the Raiders leading 3-0 in the top of the second inning. SOU had a runner on first base with no outs. The game will proceed from that point with a 1-0 count on the batter.

This past weekend No. 7 Oregon Tech ran a four-game sweep over Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho, and needs just one win to secure the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular-season title, and a chance to host the CCC postseason tournament May 4th and 5th.

The Owls are currently 34-7 overall and 17-4 in CCC play. Meanwhile the Raiders head into the weekend with a 20-17 overall mark and are 10-17 in CCC play.
