FOREST GROVE, Ore. - The latest stop for the Warner Pacific track team was the annual Pacific University Twilight. The Knights came home with three event titles, one school record, and six more CCC Championship qualifiers despite several competitors taking the weekend to rest.

Freshman Johnnie Clark now owns the Warner Pacific record in the pole vault after clearing 14 feet 11 inches. The old mark was set in 2009 by Connor Streed.

Garrett South continued his excellent form in the hurdles, earning first place finishes in both the 110 meter (15.28 seconds), and the 400 meter (56.11 seconds) versions.

Ka'imi Scott was a strong 3rd place in the 200 meter dash, posting a time of 22.44 seconds.

On the women's side, Deb McCloud took home the individual win in the high jump for the second weekend in a row, clearing 5 feet 3 inches.

Christy Avery was ever so close to the WP record in the 200 meters. Her 3rd place time of 26.37 seconds was just behind Haley Ricker's mark of 25.99 set in 2009.

A change was made to the schedule, as the Knights will not be hosting the NAIA Exhibition Meet in Centralia next weekend. The team will head to the Linfield Twilight on May 4th instead.
