EUGENE, Ore.  – Junior setter Rylie Engelson posted an impressive triple-double on Saturday night, lifting the Warner Pacific Knights to a 27-25, 25-22, 21-25, 21-25, 15-8 victory over Northwest Christian University in CCC action. The Mt. Hood CC transfer collected 20 assists, 17 kills, and 13 digs in the win.

NCU out-hit the Knights in the game, earning a .181 attack percentage versus a .172 clip for WPC, despite being out-blocked 12-6 in the match. The Beacons also collected 103 digs and seven service aces and combined for 60 assists, but WPC led in the only stat that mattered and pulled away in the final set to remain undefeated in Cascade Conference action.

Warner Pacific (5-2, 2-0) was led by Devan Belshe who collected a match-best 18 kills along with team highs of 22 digs and two aces. Engelson added five blocks to her impressive numbers, but it was Kristina Naff that really dominated the net, getting a piece of nine total blocks including three solo efforts. Samatha Bryan added 21 digs and Marchelle Bostic posted a match-high 30 assists.

Northwest Christian (3-5, 0-2 CCC) was led by senior Tami Brown who secured a double-double with 19 digs and 16 kills as she hit a team-high .300, adding three blocks. 

Taylor Richardson added 14 kills and had just three errors on the night while Maren Mansfield added eleven kills, eight digs and five service aces. Cori Wallace led the team with 28 assists, followed closely by Alyssa Dorr with 27. Dana McGowan set an NCU single-set record with 15 digs and finished the night with 35, just one off of her own school record.
