Acacia Johnson had a great opportunity to get the second goal for Northwest but her open shot, 12 yards out and straight on to the goal sailed high over the crossbar. Northwest had opportunities to score in the overtime periods as they had two corner kicks and a shot in the first overtime and three shots and two corner kicks in the second extra period. Northwest (1-4-1) out shot Rocky Mountain (4-0-1) 17-15 and had 7 corners to RMC’s 5. Patty Hughes had 3 saves in goal for Northwest and Malin Johansson saved five for the Battlin’ Bears.
