The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period of January 7- 13.

 
  Womens Basketball
 
Oregon Tech’s Karissa Dixon has been chosen the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for Jan 7-13.
 
Dixon, a junior from Medford, Ore, netted 37 points, 13 boards and 8 assists in leading OIT to victory over Northwest and Evergreen. Dixon’s 26 points against NU was a career high.

Mens Basketball
 
Northwest’s Ryan McIntosh has been chosen the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for Jan. 7-13.
 
McIntosh, a junior from Puyallup, WA., came off the bench to start in both games and did not disappoint, scoring a game high 33 points in the win over Oregon Tech. It was NU’s first ever victory in Klamath Falls. McIntosh followed up his break-out performance with a game high 23 points in the upset win over No. 14 Southern Oregon.

Mens Indoor- Field
 
Concordia’s Bo Johnson has been chosen the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for Jan. 7-13.
 
Johnson, a senior from Toledo, Ore., took first place in the weight throw at the University of Washington Indoor Preview on Saturday with a 58-11 1/4 (17.96m) toss. Johnson finished more than two feet farther than the runner-up from NCAA DI Eastern Washington (56-8). His mark is also good for the
NAIA indoor ‘A' standard and is currently ranked No. 3 on the NAIA performance list.

Mens Indoor-Track
 
Concordia’s Taylor Adrian has been chosen the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Jan. 7-13.
 
Adrian, a junior from Portland, Ore., finished with an 8:43.22 in the 3,000-meter run at the University of Washington Indoor Preview. The mark met the NAIA ‘B' standard and is currently No. 4 on the NAIA performance list.

Women’s Indoor-Field
 
Concordia’s Gabriella Dixson, has been chosen the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for Jan. 7-13.
 
Dixson, a senior from Battle Ground, WA., posted a pair of NAIA automatic indoor national qualifiers in her 2013 debut at the University of Washington Indoor Preview. Dixson won the weight throw competition with a 55-10 ½ (17.03m) heave while taking runner-up honors in the shot put with a 45-5 (13.84m). The distance in the weight throw is now the No. 2 mark in the NAIA while her shot put mark is currently No.3 on the national performance list.

Women’s Indoor- Track
 
Concordia’s NyEmma Sims has been chosen the Red Lion Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for Jan. 7-13.
 
Sims, a senior from Portland Ore., posted the No.2 mark in the NAIA in the 200-meter dash at the Washington Indoor Preview. Sims, clocked a 24.93 (converted for 300-meter track) to defeat the entire field by a .26 margin. In addition to her NAIA auto standard in the 200, Sims also was part of the 1,600-meter relay team which registered the No. 4 time in the NAIA so far this season.
