Conference Office Issues Public Reprimand
LA GRANDE, Ore.- The Cascade Conference office announced today that a public reprimand has been issued to a Southern Oregon University men's basketball player.
The reprimand is in response to a violation of CCC Bylaw 10.1.4.1- Acts of Unsportsmanlike Conduct, that took place during the SOU-EOU men’s basketball game played January 19, 2013.
The infraction occurred on a play in which and SOU player was issued a dead ball-contact technical foul. The technical foul was called after the SOU player stepped in the middle of the chest of an EOU player while the EOU player was lying on his back after a rebound attempt.
The reprimand also addressed that any additional unsportsmanlike actions could result in game(s) suspensions.
